Life is full of challenges — but resilience is what helps us adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of them. This interactive 3-hour workshop is designed to give adults practical, evidence-based strategies for building resilience that can be applied in everyday life.

Led by Anne-Louise James, a Counsellor and Accredited Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in mental health and wellbeing, this program blends professional insights with hands-on activities.

  • Understand what resilience really means and reflect on your personal strengths

  • Explore stress and emotional regulation, and practice tools like breathing, grounding, and gratitude journaling

  • Recognise unhelpful thought patterns and learn reframing techniques

  • Develop a growth mindset to boost optimism and adaptability

  • Identify supportive relationships and apply a simple problem-solving model

  • Create your own Personal Resilience Action Plan
